Qualifications
The
candidates applying for the posts should have educational qualifications and
experience as specified in notification of All India Council for Technical
Education, New Delhi ( Pay Scales Service Conditions and qualifications for the
teachers and other Academic Staff in Technical Institutions ( Degree )
Regulations, 2010, dated 5th March 2010 )

Age: Upper limit for age is 70 Years

Pay & service conditions
The
candidates selected will be appointed on full time adhoc
basis initially for a maximum period of up to 2 (two) years and extendable
afterwards depending on performance of candidate. The salary will be applicable
as per AICTE norms/ Scales. The exact salary for an individual candidate in the
scale will be
decided by the selection committee based on additional qualification and
experience of the candidate.

General Information
i)
Those who are already in service should
apply through proper channel.
ii)
The educational qualifications,
publications, and experience up to the last date of submission of applications
will be considered while determining the eligibility of candidates for the
posts and for short-listing them for the interview.
iii)
All applicants are requested to see
college website for further updates. No query regarding the eligibility and
other information will be entertained individually. All the aspiring candidates
are advised to apply for the posts for which they consider themselves eligible.
iv)
After scrutiny of received applications,
the list of shortlisted eligible candidates will be displayed on college
website.
v)
Interview schedule will be displayed on
college website. Eligible candidates should appear for the interview as per the
schedule along with all original documents. No separate call letters will be
sent. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending interview.
vi)
All candidates should submit one set of
attested copies of certificates and copies of their publications along with
application.
vii)
The candidates will first fill in and
submit the online form and then submit hard copy of their application along
with a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.
1000/- for Open category and Rs.800/- for Reserved category by original D.D. of
Nationalized Bank payable at Sangli in
the name of ‘ The Director, Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli ‘ If
candidate intends to apply for multiple posts, he/she has to apply separately
for each post providing all needful documents
along with a separate D.D. for each post applied for.
viii)
The envelope containing the filled
application form should bear a clear title as “ Application for the full time
regular post of ________________ on Postgraduate Wing
ix)
Hard copy of application along with
D.D. should reach the Director, Walchand College of Engineering,
Vishrambag,Sangli-416 415 ( M.S.) before the last date for submission of
applications i.e. 1/7/2015 up to 4.00 p.m. Applications received
after the due date and time will not be considered.
x)
Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
xi)
Tentative dates for the interview will
be between 6th and 10th July 2015.
xii)
Tentative date for joining is 1st
Aug 2015.
