Welcome to ‘Walchand College of Engineering (WCE), Sangli’ – a crucible where legacy meets innovation, and aspirations are forged into reality.

For over seven decades, the name Walchand has been synonymous with nation-building. Established in 1947, the year of India’s independence, WCE was born with a singular vision: to create engineers capable of constructing a modern India. This legacy is not just a part of our history; it is the very bedrock of our identity and the compass that guides our future. Under the guidance of Hon. Ajit Gulabchand, Chairman of the Administrative Council, institution is making outstanding progress.

Today, as we navigate the complexities of the 21st century, our vision has evolved, yet its core remains unchanged.
